Can I Count on walk-in clients?

While there will be walk-in customers, they will be limited. A successful Couture Salon Studio salon owner will have an established clientele. We would advise you not depend on walk-in business for any significant portion of your business.

Are you planning on opening future locations?

Yes.  Couture Salon Studios is actively planning to open new locations.  However if owning you own Couture Salon Studio interests you, it is in your best interest to call to set-up a consultation today.

Do I have 24/7 access to my studio?

Yes. There is an electronic security system that provides access to Couture Salon Studios facility.

What kind of security is provided for my studio?

Couture Salon Studios is armed with an alarm system as well as surveillance cameras.

Who is responsible for cleaning and maintaining my studio?

All cleaning of common areas, break room, lounges, bathrooms, and hallways are maintained by Couture Salon Studios. However you are responsible for the cleaning of your own studios interior.

Are there laundry facilities available?

Yes. There are coin operated washer and dryers located in the break room.

Who do I purchase my products from?

For your convenience we have established relationships with the local leading beauty representatives that can help you with equipment, tools and products.

What does the Salon Coordinator Do for me?

The salon coordinator answers phones, directs deliveries and greets your clientele. She is a friendly face that helps your clientele transition from your last location. The salon coordinator is also the link between you and walk-in clients. The salon coordinator maintains the common areas break-room and lounges.

Can I sublet my studio with another beauty professional?

Yes you can sublet to another beauty professional.  We just ask that one payment is arranged for non double studios.

What is provided in each studio?

Emerald Studios- Cabinetry, Mirror, Styling Station, Styling Chair, Retail Shelving, Shampoo Chair and Shampoo Bowl.

Monarch Studios- Cabinetry, Mirror, Styling Station, Styling Chair, Retail Shelving, Sink, Shampoo Chair and Shampoo Bowl.

Pavilion Studios- Cabinetry, 2 Mirrors, 2 Styling Stations, 2 Styling Chairs, 2 Sets Retail Shelving, Sink, 2 Shampoo Chairs and 2 Shampoo Bowls.

Stella Studios- Cabinetry, Mirror, Retail Shelving and a Sink.

Are there different studio sizes? What are the sizes?

Emerald Studios are our standard size studios and are designed for hair stylists.

Monarch Studios are our mid size studios and are designed for hair stylists that desire a little extra space.

Pavilion Studios are our double studios and are designed for two hair stylists to work at the same time.

Stella Studios are the same size as a standard yet, designed for skin care, makeup artists, message therapists or body sculpting professionals.

How much money do I Need to Start My Own Studio?

The only money you need to start your studio is a security deposit equal to two weeks’ rent. You probably will want to spend some money personalizing your studio with décor. We provide a shampoo bowl with chair, styling chair with full-length mirror, custom cabinetry so that you can start working immediately.

How Much Money Will I Make as a Salon Owner?

Extensive research shows beauty professionals show a 30% or more increase in take home earnings when compared to traditional commission-based salons.

Where do I Start?

The first step is to call and make an appointment to see our studio gallery. This will include a consultation to answer any questions you may have and we can show you how to make a smooth transition into salon ownership. Initially it may seem overwhelming but we have designed resources for you so that business experience is not required.
Your success will be determined through your talent, skills and how well you serve, maintain and build your clientele. After you choose your studio, paint colors, and make a nominal deposit, you will receive our start-up manual and full support from the on-site manager. Everything you need to know-including licensing, marketing resources, where to get insurance, a check list for setting up your studio and more.

How Long Does it Take to Get My Studio Up and Running?

Plan on two to four weeks from the moment you decide Couture Salon Studios is for you to the first day you seat your client in your new chair.

Do I have to sign a lease? How long are the Leases?

We have a minimum of a one-year lease obligation however rent payments are decreased by a percentage if signing a two-year lease

Will My Clients Like This Concept?

Your clients will love this concept. Privacy, personal attention and stunning studios what’s not to love? Our studios feel more exclusive and glamourous. If you think about the conversations that you have in a traditional salon setting most of them are personal and does your client really appreciate being overheard by others in the room? We have designed an “I’ve Moved” post card just for you! We give you 150 post cards the day we set up your paper work so you can mail them right away. You will also have your own space on Couture Salon Studios web site with all your information, prices and link to your personal web page. The Couture Salon Studios web page is a free service that we offer to all of our salon owners. Plus we give you 150 high impact “I’ve Moved” cards to mail to let your clients know that you are now a salon owner! Need more? No worries, we can refer you to pre-screened and preferred trusted vendors that can take care of all of your marketing needs.

My business needs something extra (i.e. ventilation for nail tech or a dark, quiet studio for an esthetician) Does Couture Salon Studios have those accommodations?

All studios are set-up with exhaust fans to eliminate odors and chemical exposure. We have customized rooms for stylists, estheticians and nail technicians. Most rooms are versatile to meet any beauty professional’s needs.
